Well, I totally abandoned my blog once I started IFF, but here is my "catch up" over the last year. In chronological order:
May 2008: Start IFF in the T-38C
June 2008: I ask Anna to move from Nashville to Arizona with me and she says yes
July 2008: Finished IFF
August 2008: Anna and I move to Arizona with the help of both of our brothers and dads, we make a stop at Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, Erin and Luke come to visit
September 2008: I start F-16 Fighting Falcon training at the 61st Fighter Squadron, Luke AFB, AZ
October 2008: I fly my first F-16D (two seater) flight and my first F-16C (single seat) flight, Anna turns 26
November 2008: Anna and I have our first Thanksgiving together, I pick out the diamond ring I'll give to Anna soon
December 2008: Anna and I host Christmas at our house with my family, I hook Ryan up with an F-16 flight in my Air Combat Manuevering sortie (2 verses 1 air to air flight), and we spend New Years in Seattle
January 2009: I turn 26 and Anna throws me a huge balloon party and I get assigned to Kunsan Air Base, South Korea for a year after I graduate
February 2009: I ask Anna to be my wife....and she said yes!!! I finish Air to Air training and move on to Surface Attack training, 550 Knots at 500 Feet....AWESOME!
March 2009: We plan on getting married (impromptu before I go to Korea for a year) in Las Vegas on the 7th!
April 2009: ?
May 2009: Ryan graduates from University of Tampa and commissions as a Second Lieutenant in the USAF, Erin and Luke are getting MARRIED!, and I graduate from F-16 training
June 2009: I start and finish upgrade training for the block 50 (more advanced avionics and engine)
July 2009: I move Anna where she is going to live for a year, and then I move to South Korea
So there is was in a nutshell...I'm going to really try to keep up the posts now, and keep them short and sweet...Enjoy!
